What does the Union do with all the dues, fees, assessments and possible fines it collects from its members? Take a look at their financial statements and find out. These are public documents the Union is required to file with the federal government which show a breakdown of where Union members money goes, like to pay high Union salaries.
Members of IATSE are bound by all the rules in the Union's Constitution. According to the Union's rule book, members can be fined, suspended and expelled from the Union for violating any of their rules. Has the Union even shown you this rule book?
